A snapshot of how our engineers currently view the technologies shaping the systems we build. It is an opinion, revised as the technology and our experience of it change.
How to read it
Each point is a technology or practice. The closer to the centre, the more readily we use it by default. Select a sector to filter, or a point to read why it sits where it does.

- Adopt
- Proven in our engineering practice. This is our default choice where it fits, and we would need a reason not to use it.
- Trial
- Used deliberately where the fit is clear. We are confident in the value and still learning where its limits are.
- Assess
- We are watching and experimenting. It is promising, and we do not yet treat it as a default for production systems.
