This Privacy Notice explains how Starone Technology Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202601029640 (1691735-M)), referred to as “Starone”, “we” or “us”, processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

When you contact us or apply for a role, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, CV and the content of your message.

When you visit our website, we may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to improve the site.

We use your personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted services, assess job applications, maintain website security and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with our partner Bitara where relevant to your enquiry, with service providers who host or operate our systems under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures.

You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@staroneai.net. We will respond within the timeframes required by the PDPA.

This notice is available in English, Chinese and Japanese, and a Bahasa Malaysia version is available on request. If the versions differ, the English version applies.
